The Bow Valley Immigrant Advisory Group (IAG) works with the Bow Valley Immigration Partnership (BVIP) to bring immigrant voices to local leaders and decision-making processes in the Bow Valley.
This Open Meeting is your chance to help design the next IAG that better represents and supports our diverse community and BVIP’s goal of building a more welcoming and inclusive community.
We will bring together current IAG members, ethnocultural community leaders, and foreign-born residents to talk about what comes next.
We will share past achievements, discuss new opportunities, and decide how the group can have the most impact in the years ahead.

Where: Elevation Place: 700 Railway Ave, Canmore. Room 212, upstairs on the left.

Who is this Open Meeting for?
You are over 18 years old
You were born outside of Canada (any immigration status)
You currently live in the Bow Valley (Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore, Harvie Heights, Lac Des Arcs, Dead Man's Flats, Exshaw, or Kananaskis)
You want to share your ideas about creating a new group to represent Bow Valley immigrants and newcomers in local decision-making processes.
