2021 Federal Election - Bow Valley information

The next Canadian federal election will be held on Monday, September 30, 2021.
Who can vote in the Federal Election?
To vote in the Canadian federal election, you must:
Be a Canadian citizen
Be at least 18 years old on election day
Prove your identity and address
If you are not eligible to vote, you can still get involved in Canada’s democracy!
Attend election events to meet candidates and ask questions that matter to you
Get involved with BVIP to help make a difference in our community.
Do you have your Voter Information Card?
If YES, you are registered:
If you received your voter information card in the mail, and your name and address are correct, you are registered to vote. Bring your card with accepted identification to making the voting process easier.
Your voter information card tells you where and how to vote. You can also find your polling station here.
If NO, you may need to register to vote:
You might not be registered to vote, or your information might not be correct. If you do not have your voter information card you can register to vote in 3 ways:
Online: You can register online at elections.ca.
Phone: Call 1-800-463-6868 or 1-800-361-8935 (TTY)
In person: On election day or at an advance polling stations. You will need to bring your identification (ID) and proof of your physical address. You cannot use ID that only lists a mailing address (PO Box, rural route, or general delivery) to register. What types of ID can you use?
Have you moved recently?
If you do not have identification with a Bow Valley address on it, you can register by visiting the Elections Canada office.
Ways to vote
1) On election day
Election Day is Monday September 20, 2021.
Your voter information card tells you where and when you can vote.
Your assigned polling station will be open for 12 hours on the day.
2) On advance polling days (vote in person before election day):
You can vote in advance before the Federal Election on the following days, between 9:00am to 9:00pm
Friday, September 10th
Saturday, September 11th
Sunday, September 12th
Monday, September 13th
3) Vote by mail
Canadian electors can vote by mail using the special ballot process.
You must apply as soon as possible to allow time for your special ballot voting kit to reach you, and for your marked ballot to reach Elections Canada by election day on Monday, September 20th, 2021.
Elections Canada must receive your completed application by the deadline indicated below.
If you apply online from outside your riding: on Tuesday, September 14, 6pm. Eastern time.
If you apply to a local Elections Canada office or online from within your riding: on Tuesday, September 14, 6pm. local time.
Once you have applied to vote by special ballot, you can't change your mind and vote at advance polls or on Election Day.

4) Vote at an Elections Canada office
You can vote at any Elections Canada office before Tuesday September 14th, 6pm. You will vote using the special ballot process. In the Bow Valley, our nearest Elections Canada office is:
