During this powerful training series, you will:

  • Gain insight into the world of neurodivergent folks to create a more inclusive and respectful work environment

  • Discover the “Future Skills of the Workforce” many neurodivergent folks possess, to welcome their essential contribution to our workplaces

  • Discover keys to creating neuro-inclusive workplace that attract neurodivergent talent that faces high unemployment and under-employment

  • Optional Neuro-Inclusive Leadership Sessions for current and aspiring leaders to equip you with tools and skills to bring out the best in neurodivergent leaders and colleagues

Enjoy a meal and learn how to eat well on a budget.

Join us for the "Eating Well on a Budget" event to learn how to eat healthy without spending too much. A speaker from the Primary Care Network (PCN) will share tips on affordable, nutritious food, and you’ll get to enjoy a free meal. There will also be a presentation from the Bow Valley Primary Care Network about how to eat well on a budget and various local food resources. It’s a great chance to meet new people, learn useful tips, and enjoy a meal together!

At a Death Cafe people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Just arrived in the Bow Valley? Looking for a warm meal and great company?

Join us during Community Week 2024 on Monday 18 November (and every Monday night afterwards!) for Banff Food and Friends from 5-7 p.m. at St. George in the Pines Anglican Church Lower Hall! Enjoy a free hot meal and connect with neighbors, friends, and new faces from Banff. Volunteers are welcome between 4-5 p.m. to lend a hand. This community dinner is open to everyone—come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s make Mondays brighter together!

What is Food and Friend Dinners?

Community Food and Friend Dinners offer a safe place for people from all segments of society to come together every Monday evening to enjoy the pleasure of a free, attractive, nutritious meal with friends and neighbors.

This is not a soup kitchen approach toward feeding hungry people but a community event that provides good nutrition, enhances food security, and brings about social cohesion.
