Tunnel Mountain is also known as ‘Sleeping Buffalo’ Mountain, or ‘Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain’. The Blackfoot name for the mountain is Iinii Istako and the Stoney Nakoda language name is Eyarhey Tatanga Woweyahgey Wakân.

Location: Meet at the Tunnel Mountain Trailhead (Lower Parking Area) at 10am to collect supplies including gloves, garbage bags, and garbage grabbers.
