Play Netball in Banff!
Netball is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players. Games are played on a rectangular court with raised goal rings at each end. Each team attempts to score goals by passing a ball down the court and shooting it through its goal ring.
Netball is a popular sport in many Commonwealth countries including Australia, England, Jamaica, New Zealand and many more.
Come out and join other locals while working up a sweat and learn a fun new game. Come with friends, or meet someone new.
All are welcome - we invite all genders and abilities to join us for this fun night of netball, even if you’ve never played before!
This event is one of many drop-in recreation sessions offered by the Town of Banff. During Community Week (November 7th-13th), all Bow Valley residents can participate for free (Lake Louise, Banff, Canmore, west MD of Bighorn). To learn more, please visit banff.ca/dropin
