Once Upon An Alphabet Storytime
Join us for a fun and fabulous Storytime with songs, rhymes, movement, and great books! Stay to make a craft, do some coloring, and play with toys, blocks, trains, and other sensory objects. Snacks and beverages provided.
Chili Friday

Banff & Lake Louise Ambassador Program
Are you a new local? Become a Banff and Lake Louise Ambassador! If you work in Banff National Park, receive your Ambassador Pass with experiences valued at over $1,400 by attending this free one hour in-person welcome and orientation session.
Try Squash For Youth (6-18)
Ever wanted to try a new sport? Come join us for a free Squash lesson! We will provide equipment and instruction. Just bring yourself, meet new people, and learn a new sport!
50+ Fitness
A fun fitness class that will have you focused on cardiovascular and muscular strengthening, core and balance and ends with a nice stretch.
Volleyball Night
Join fun game of pickup volleyball. You can work on your serves, volleys and setting in a great social setting. Volleyballs and nets provided. All are welcome to join this casual fun night.
Netball Night
Play Netball in Banff! Netball is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players. Games are played on a rectangular court with raised goal rings at each end. Each team attempts to score goals by passing a ball down the court and shooting it through its goal ring. Come out and join other locals while working up a sweat and learn a fun new game.

Everything you need to know about the school system in Canada! Ask questions at this free online information session. Essential for all parents and caregivers with children in schools in the Bow Valley, especially newcomers to Canada, immigrants, and Temporary Foreign Workers.
Community Table Lunch
Enjoy a bowl of homestyle cooked vegetable soup, bread, salad, fruit, tea/coffee. Meet other community members, learn information on local resources. $3 suggested donation. All are welcome!
Drop-In with Settlement Services (For Permanent Residents of Canada)
Meet with a friendly local Settlement worker and ask any questions! You don’t need to book an appointment, just drop in and see us! Soccer
Join others to kick the ball around in a fun pickup game of soccer. Balls, pinnies and nets are provided. Free, all are welcome.
Community Jam Night
Drop-in with your instrument of choice and jam out to some well-known songs with other local music enthusiasts! All are welcome to come along for a fun musical night!
Speed Friending
You will have 5 minutes to talk to up to 20 new people and you will decide who will get your contacts at the end. This is a fun way to meet new people and get closer to your community without awkward social barriers.
Badminton
In badminton you will use racquets to hit a shuttlecock (or birdie) across a net at your opponent. Badminton can be played one-on-one or as doubles, so come alone or bring a friend. Racquets and birdies are provided. All are welcome.
Flow Into Nidra - Free Yoga
Break up your week with a yoga session that will lead you through mindful movements and breath work before moving into a restful practice of Yoga Nidra (known as the yogic sleep). The first portion of this practice will get the energy flowing and create warmth in the body and will then transition into slow movement that will have you feeling both awake and rested by the end.
Banff Hub Open House
Drop by The Hub - our community bicycle workshop in Banff! You can access tools and equipment to work on your bike and learn from volunteer mentors. Buy or donate a used bike at the Hub and ask questions about bikes or bike maintenance. There will be door prizes.
Community Jam & Learn
This beginner's class will help you discover chords and the joys of playing music. Guitar and other string instruments welcome (banjo, ukulele, mandolin, etc.).
BanffLIFE Basecamp
Tune your skis and snowboard ready for the winter season whilst enjoying FREE sushi! We invite all young adults aged 18-30 to drop-in to this new social program. Stories & S’Mores - Banff Family Night Walk
Learn about walking safely at night with your family, try making your own s'mores, and enjoy free hot chocolate! We welcome all families and individuals to join this fun winter activity to stay active, meet new people, and have fun!
Orientation for Permanent Residents of Canada (PR)
This two-part session covers everything you need to know about being a Permanent Resident (PR) including your PR status, PR card, English classes, health care, taxes, and your rights and responsibilities. You will also learn about ways to save money in the Bow Valley with information on free or low-cost programs and services for individuals and families.
Dance Conditioning
Banff Dance conditioning is a fun workout for your body and brain that will uplift your spirits. Move through a warm-up for joint mobility and ease, get your heart rate up with some barre exercises and challenge your brain with some simple choreography. Finish with dance-based movements for strengthening and a stretch. Dance makes you agile, flexible and strong and the music makes you smile!

Stop by BPC every Tuesday from 11-1pm for a delicious, homemade bowl of soup and a bun. Grab a seat and enjoy lunch with your community. No connection with the church required. 50+ Yoga For The Wise
This class is for adults like you that want to explore movement in the body. Time has provided you with the knowledge of your physical, emotional and mental capacities. Your instructor will suggest poses and movements during each session but the focus will be to meet you where you are at each time you attend.
Basketball

Pickleball

Open to all skill levels and age, come and play some friendly games of chess with us! We provide the chess sets. Games are friendly but competitiveness is encouraged. Free Food and Drinks sponsored - Pizza included!
