Join us for this fun winter activity to stay active, meet new people, and have fun!

This family-friendly, all ages event is open to all newcomers and long-time residents.

We will have a fire inside the shelter to help you stay warm and enjoy the evening. 🔥

  • Meeting point: Join us any time between 5PM—8PM at Banff Recreation Grounds, at Protection Shelter. We will have team members to welcome you there.

  • How to get there: Protection Shelter is a picnic shelter/small building at the Banff Recreation Grounds near the new Nancy Pauw Bridge. It is next to the basketball court near Birch Drive, Banff.

You can join the event at any time by meeting us at Protection Shelter at the Banff Recreation Grounds (shelter near the new Nancy Pauw Bridge).

Join us for s’mores at Protection Shelter any time between 5PM-8PM.

  • 5:15PM: Family Storytime at Protection Shelter with Banff Library

  • 5:45PM: Walking Group 1 - Start walking from Protection Shelter, across the new Nancy Pauw Bridge, along Wolf Street to Banff Mineral Springs Hospital for free hot chocolate and giveaways

  • 6:00PM: Family Storytime at Protection Shelter with Banff Library

  • 6:45PM: Walking Group 2 - Start walking from Protection Shelter, across the new Nancy Pauw Bridge, along Wolf Street to Banff Mineral Springs Hospital for free hot chocolate and giveaways

  • 6:45PM: Family Storytime

What is a “S’more”?

A s'more is a popular campfire sweet treat. It usually includes a marshmallow toasted on a campfire with a layer of chocolate, sandwiched between two graham crackers.

It’s a delicious and fun way to enjoy cold weather in Canada!

Join this event to try making your own s’mores! We will provide all the materials.

 

This event is FREE! We invite all newcomers and long-time residents to join.
