✅ Why This Commitment Is Important:
The problem we’re trying to solve:
Employers may not have a clear picture of their workforce makeup: Without anonymous, aggregate data, it can be hard to understand the range of immigration experiences represented in the workplace.
Workforce needs can be missed or addressed too late: Changes related to work permits, language access, cultural adjustment, health and wellbeing, or recruitment may affect employees and business operations before supports are in place.
Community planning is limited without shared local insights: A better understanding of workforce trends can help employers, service providers, and partners respond to emerging needs across the Bow Valley.
Benefits:
Make more informed workplace decisions: A workforce snapshot helps employers identify where policies, communication, training, and staff supports may need to adapt.
Prepare for workforce changes: Identifying trends early helps employers plan for permit transitions, recruitment needs, employee wellbeing, and retention.
Support coordinated action across the Bow Valley: Anonymous, aggregate information strengthens local understanding of workforce realities and helps guide practical community supports for employers and employees.
